Leonardo DiCaprio Had To Learn How To Do Drugs For The Wolf Of Wall Street; Jordan Belfort Says, We Were Drooling On The Floor'
The Wolf of Wall Street which was an American biographical black comedy film directed by Martin Scorsese was one of the biggest movies and a hit in 2013. The film was based on the life of Jordan Belfort who is a big shot stockbroker in New York and the titular role was played by none other than Leonardo DiCaprio, one of the finest actors in Hollywood. The film was nominated for several awards, including five nominations at the 86th Academy Awards ceremony in categories like Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay, as well as Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor nominations for DiCaprio and Jonah Hill, respectively.

DiCaprio won Best Actor in a Comedy award in Critics' Choice Movie Awards and he also bagged a runner-up award in the Best Actor category in Boston Society of Film Critics. However, did you know Leo had to get himself some classes on how to do drugs? That’s right? Since the actor had no idea how to take drugs as he has never done drugs in his life, he got lessons from the man himself, Jordan Belfort. Speaking to The New York Post, Jordan Belfort revealed, “I showed him what it looks and feels like when you are high on quaaludes. I… started crawling around. We were both on the floor, drooling. His father walked into the room and asked us what the f*ck we were doing.”

On a similar note, Leonardo told The Daily Mail in 2014, “He crawled around the floor to re-enact the stages of getting high. He wasn’t the greatest actor, but he certainly gave me inspiration.” Well, that’s an interesting trivia we feel. Nevertheless, Leonardo’s performance in the film was par excellence and personally, no one could have done a better job than Leo himself.

The Wolf of Wall Street also stars Jonah Hill who plays Leo’s business partner and friend, Donnie Azoff, Margot Robbie plays his wife, Naomi Lapaglia and Kyle Chandler who plays an FBI agent Patrick Denham.
